You can exchange your empty cylinders through our online exchange program or at participating local retailers. Simply swap your empty for a full one and only pay the price of the gas refill.
Are SodaStream carbonating bottles dishwasher safe?
Only our 'Dishwasher Safe' labeled bottles can be placed in the dishwasher. Classic plastic bottles should be hand-washed with lukewarm water and mild soap to maintain their structural integrity.
What is the standard shipping timeframe for orders?
Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days. Standard shipping usually takes 3-5 business days depending on your location within the continental United States.
Can I carbonate liquids other than plain water?
No, our sparkling water makers are designed to carbonate plain water only. Adding syrups, fruit, or other liquids before carbonation can damage the machine and void your warranty.

How do I know when my CO2 cylinder is empty?
You will notice a lack of carbonation even after several presses, or the carbonation button may feel easier to press. A distinct 'sputtering' sound often indicates the gas is running low.
